All in all - we really enjoyed this place & will be back. Hotel’s breakfast was lovely with scrambled eggs and could satisfy any taste. The venue was in a central location just next door to the local bars and entertainment, the shopping strip and the restaurant. Moreover, it was 2 km from Toowoon Bay Gallery.

Let’s start with the good stuff. The bed was super comfy, and I really appreciated the modern decor. The room was nice and spacious, with a flat-screen TV that was perfectly positioned for watching my favorite shows. The little sitting area was a nice touch too; I enjoyed a cup of tea from the electric kettle while relaxing there. Speaking of tea, the mini-bar had a decent selection, and I was thrilled to find a complimentary biscuit that just made my day. The breakfast was another highlight; it was tasty and just what I needed to kickstart my mornings. And the staff? Totally friendly and helpful. Michael at the front desk was especially awesome, making the check-in process so much smoother despite a couple of hiccups. Now, onto the not-so-great parts. The air conditioning was such a buzzkill. When I turned it on, it sounded like a plane was taking off! So loud that I ended up switching it off at night, which made for an uncomfortable sleep when the room got too warm. I had some trouble with the bathroom too. There was no door on the shower, and it got all foggy the moment I turned on the hot water. Would it have killed them to put some ventilation in there? a towel or squeegee to deal with the water that splashes out would have been handy. Oh, and I really need to mention the room service—well, lack thereof, actually. They had some party going on which totally shut down the restaurant, and I was left scrambling for dinner. Not ideal when you're after a relaxing evening. The cleaning staff didn't do the best job either. I noticed some dust on the furniture and stains on the bedhead when we arrived, and to top it off, the toiletries weren’t replenished daily. I felt like I was constantly asking for the basics. The carpet also needed some attention; it looked like it had seen better days. When checking out, I also got hit with a surprise $15 charge for parking, which felt a bit steep considering my overall experience.

The room was not only modern but also very clean, which made it comfortable for my needs. I was pleasantly surprised to find that breakfast was included, especially since I stayed over the Christmas period. It was a wonderful way to start my holiday!
There was nothing I didn’t like! 😊.

I chose this hotel for attending a conference and the conference facilities were excellent. The meeting rooms were spacious and well-equipped, accommodating up to 140 delegates with ease. The flexible floor plan allowed for various setups, making it convenient for different types of events. It was like having a business center within the hotel itself.
One service that I missed for my work was a dedicated co-working space. It would have been great to have a designated area where I could work and collaborate with colleagues outside of the conference rooms.
